لقد وجدت مشاركة القوارض في مختلف مناحي الحياة لكل الدول والشعوب ، وكانت دول العالم تتسابق فيالتخلص من آثار القوارض ، لكن من سوء طالعنا كعرب ، أننا نفتقر لمكتبة أو حتى ثقافة تؤهلنا للتأهب لدرء هذا الخطر المستتر غالبا و الواضح أحيانا .. ولن أزعم أنني بعدةمقالات سأعوض هذا النقص الخطير في الثقافة بهذا الخصوص ، لكن سأحاول ترك ما يحفزعلى التفكير في البحث عن تلك الثقافة العملية ..




نظرة عامة :






تتبع القوارض لرتبة Rodentia وهي رتبة تتبع لصف اللبائن Mammalia وهي الرتبة الأكثر عددا من حيث الأنواع و الأصناف و تحت الأصناف ، ولا تضاهيها إلارتبة (الوطاويط) Chiroptera . تضم رتبة القوارض أكثر من 30 عائلة و 1700 نوع و عددكبير جدا من الأصناف وتحت الأصناف ويقدر عدد أفراد كل عائلة بالبلايين .. وتنتشر فيمختلف بقاع الأرض من سيبيريا شمالا حتى القطب الجنوبي مرورا بمختلف البيئات ..

وقد تكيفت بعض أجزاء القوارض ، حسب البيئة ، فمنها ما أصبح ذيله كالمجداف ( القندس) ومنها ما تحول شعر جلده الى أبرقوية كالسهام (الدعلج) ومنها ما التصق جفني عينيه ( الخلد) .. ومنها ما طالت رجلاهالخلفيتان للقفز والسرعة ك ( اليربوع ) في الصحاري و هكذا ..
